PUTCO is suspending the fuel related increase that was announced recently, pending discussions with government.
Commuters have expressed their unhappiness about the impending increase, as such PUTCO has decided to reach out to government one more time. The company has written to the contracting authority requesting an urgent meeting.
The company is appealing to commuters to give these discussions a chance.
PUTCO will give commuters feedback before 15 August and provide clarity with regards to reimbursing passengers who have already bought tickets at a higher amount.
