Operation Dudula leader Nhlanhla “Lux” Mohlauli told dozens of supporters outside court on Friday that the State was postponing the matter because it has no case against him.
“As you can see, there is no case here,” Mohlauli said minutes following a brief appearance at the Roodepoort Magistrate Court where his case was postponed to 27 June.
Mohlauli, out on a R1,500 bail, is facing charges of theft, housebreaking and malicious damage to property.
Dozens of Operation Dudula supporters gathered outside the court.
Mohlauli told his supporters that next week, the movement will mobilize all supporters in Soweto to go build informal settlements outside the homes of politicians.
