Tourism Minister Lindiwe Sisulu on Friday called for the transformation of the aviation industry and for women to enter the industry.
Sisulu was addressing the Airline Association of Southern Africa annual general meeting in Hermanus Western Cape. Sisulu expressed concerns on the shortage of flights to stimulate tourism and bemoaned the high air ticket prices.
She made emphasis of the neccessity to collaborate to tackle the challenges. She further reiterated to the enormous task Southern Africa is facing to rebuild, indicating that Airline Association is a key partner of Tourism Department.
