INJEJE yabeNGUNI Council has supported the announcement by the ANC KZN for its choice of Nomusa Dube-Ncube as their Premier candidate to lead the KZN Provincial Government.

“Our council supports this as the Executive Assembly of INJEJE had declared _”The Future is Female”_ campaign which is a campaign to deliberately support women leaders ascending into key positions politically and otherwise. It is for this reason our council has boldly supported Nomusa Dube-Ncube, Zandile Gumede, Adv Busisiwe Mkhwebane, Dudu Myeni, Bathabile Dlamini, Khabo Nene, Lindiwe Sisulu and Mam Khawula amongst others.”

“It is thus an absolution to us that the new leadership of ANC KZN has recognized the wisdom in allowing the best performing MEC to become the Premier of the KZN Provincial Government. Our council has confidence in the abilities, experience and ideological clarity of MaDube to be able to ensure that the KZN Provincial Government returns to being a government of the people by the people. We applaud the ANC KZN PEC in this regard.”

“Our Executive Assembly also recieved a report from iNduna uMavundla who heads INJEJE’s Information Sourcing Unit (ISU) on what transpired the week leading up to the past ANC KZN provincial elective conference and how it happened to conclude in the manner in which it did. Although our council does not get involved in the workings of any political party, we do however carry the inherent responsibility of preserving and defending the African agenda even if this means going against our very own whom we have identified as being threats to the advancement of the native African agenda.”

“On this, based on the report presented to the Executive Assembly and having reviewed all captured data, our members were sincerely disturbed by the role played by Zandile Gumede and Bathabile Dlamini in working against Nomusa Dube-Ncube’s ascension to become ANC KZN Chairperson and further perforce using the name of H. E retired President Zuma to cloak their treachery of colluding with a certain bitter man from Freestate and another from Gauteng to ensure that a woman like them should not ascend to become ANC KZN Provincial Chairperson.”

“They project themselves publicly as proponents of radical economic transformation yet their behind the scenes actions demonstrate them to be anti the transformation they purport to represent. This is most certainly not something that our council can take very lightly and unfortunately it is not something that we can forgive. The advancement of the African agenda neccesitates that individuals who place their narrow pathetic interests ahead of our own as an African people must by no means be allowed to command any power and ought to be shown no mercy.”

“It is on this basis that the Executive Assembly has taken the extraordinary decision to place Zandile Gumede and Bathabile Dlamini immediately on the list of enemies of *IZITHA zabeNGUNI* alongside Cyril Ramaphosa, Pravin Gordhan and Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula amongst others. Furthermore, the Executive Assembly took a unanimous decision to ensure Zandile Gumede and Bathabile Dlamini’s political careers cease any ascent and had directed the ISU to prioritize the actualization of this resolution with immediate effect.”

The Council said Gumede’s hopes of the case against her being withdrawn shall not materialize and” her political career is about to experience its most significant upset – traitors of the African agenda will be shown no mercy.”

“Bathabile Dlamini’s hopes of returning as a President of the ANCWL and hopefully as a National Minister again shall not materialize. By their own despicable actions they have annihilated their political aspirations as they will soon come to realize.”

“There is nothing more important than the advancement of the African agenda at this present juncture, particularly when the world is on the precipice of World War III. We cannot afford to allow individuals to advance cheap and narrow political agendas that serve nothing but to sustain the status quo where the natives of this land remain pariahs whilst they amass wealth at our expense. We cannot allow that and most certainly cannot forgive.”

“We once again throw our full support behind Nomusa Dube-Ncube and hope that political parties across the province that represent an African constituency cease this opportunity to allow KZN to make history where it will have its female Premier. Nguni Kingdoms have since inception had women as a pivotal arm of any kings reign as they contributed in varying degrees in the development and advancement of their kingdoms.”

“We thus do not have any doubts that indeed there will be tangible difference in the provincial governments relationship with the people of the province.”
