Drake’s new album, Certified Lover Boy dropped on Friday to great reviews and admiration from industry peers.
Many artists took to Instagram to congratulate him on the album. It has been trending since he released the album cover earlier in the week.
Nick Minaj, a long-time friend of Drake and is also part of the same record label, Young Money Cash Money took to Instagram and posted “I’m a certified lover Barbie, Love you @champagnepapi, Forever and always”.
Other artists to congratulate the award-winning artist included Meek Mill who was in a two-year relationship with Minaj.
His admiration transcended to the basketball court and received messages of support from the likes of Kevin Durant. The man who is also known as “easy money sniper” on the gram-referred to Drake as a Goat for being consistent in releasing hit tracks.
LeBron James who is one of Drake’s closest friends celebrated him and tweeted a picture of himself in a Drake heart hair cut which he’s become known for.
He captioned the picture with a symbol of an owl which symbolizes Drakes Logo. Drake mentioned in an interview that owls are nocturnal creatures and it is at night that he “comes alive”.
It symbolizes wisdom. This may imply that Drake’s music has a deeper meaning to it.
