Nigerian Superstar Davido has reunited with South Africa’s king of Kasi sound Focalistic for a new song, Champion Sound.
The song has an Amapiano feel to it and was produced by CaltonicSA and Tee Jay. The two stars trade-off flows on the track, which captures the vibrancy of the popular South African genre that is rapidly growing worldwide.
It’s the second time the artists are working together following the success of the remix of Focalistic’s Ke Star, which US publication Time Magazine listed as one of the ‘Best Songs Of 2021 So Far’.
The music video for Champion Sound dropped on Friday afternoon.
