Patriotic Alliance Deputy President Kenny Kunene was today sworn in as councillor in the City of Joburg.
It is expected that Executive Mayor Dada Morero will in due course appoint Kunene as MMC for Roads and Transport, a position he held before he was placed on leave after being found by police at a house of a high-profile murder suspect, Katiso Molefe. Kunene has since been cleared of all wrongdoing following an inquiry conducted by top Sandton-based law firm Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr.
